Function Rooms
The emphasis on fulfilling individual needs and wishes for small groups extends to larger meetings. The hotel's 12,000 square feet (1115 square meters) of versatile function space adapts for groups of 12 to 200.

The 23rd-floor Renaissance Ballroom, with 18-foot arched windows offering breathtaking panoramic views over the city, provides a stunning backdrop for special events. Eight 8' 0" x 10' 0" booths can be accommodated in the largest room and 3105 square feet (288 square meters) of exhibit space is available.

For smaller intimate functions, the Burnham and Ogden Boardrooms which are located on the 3rd floor can accommodate up to ten guests, and the Michigan and Huron Rooms, located on the 4th floor, can accommodate up to seven guests.

Audiovisual Facilities
The Allerton Crowne Plaza offers an extensive range of audiovisual equipment, meeting aids and technical assistance. Experienced professional technicians can assist with set-up and operation of audiovisual programs. Equipment includes mixers / amplifiers, speakers, microphones, players / recorders, projection components, video / data projection and monitors, LCD data display, cameras, lighting components, screens and drapes. As experts at hosting successful meetings, the Allerton Crowne Plaza offers the exclusive Crowne Plaza Meeting Promise. This is a guarantee in writing that everything about the meeting will go exactly as agreed. If not, the hotel will correct the problem to guests' satisfaction or no charge will be made for that item. Specifically:

Meetings room(s) will be: a. Available at the specified time b. Set up as per your specifications c. Refreshed during meal breaks or no room rental will be charged for that day

Coffee break(s) will be served as specified in the meeting contract and on time, or there will be no charge for the break that day
Audiovisual equipment will be set up in accordance with the meeting contract and, where the hotel is responsible for specific equipment, the equipment will be in good working order. If not, no rental charges on that room will be made for that day
The unconditional 100% Guest Satisfaction Program gives each member of staff the power to ensure everything about guests' stay is satisfactory or no charge is made for that part of the stay

Taps on Two Restaurant
The new restaurant complements its elegant atmosphere with a Heartland fusion menu that's certain to become a favorite on the Magnificent Mile. The menu offers a unique, healthy and savory selection of gourmet specialties which range from herb-crusted fillet of Lake Superior whitefish with lemon-butter sauce and roasted baby potatoes, to grilled breast of free-range chicken with native mushrooms, asparagus ragout and wild rice. The chef will gladly prepare items to suit dietary needs.

For a break during the day or to relax after a busy day, head to Taps Lounge, located on the 2nd floor, for appetizers, snacks, nightly drinks specials and an extensive and creative selection of spirits.

Petite Classic
Petite Classic rooms embody the original historic layout of the hotel and contain one double bed and a bathroom with shower. These rooms are perfect for a single traveler or for a couple sharing. Petite Classic rooms do not contain a desk.

Standard Rooms
Standard rooms include rooms with one queen bed, one king bed or two double beds. These beautifully appointed guest rooms were designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The maximum occupancy for rooms with a queen or king bed is two guests, and for a room with two double beds, four guests.

Suites
Executive Suites
Executive suites boast all the amenities found in the Standard Room with the extra luxury of additional living space. Each suite is approximately 50% larger than a Standard Room and extends to a seating area with TV.

One-Bedroom Suites
One-bedroom Suites are the largest guest rooms at the Allerton Crowne Plaza. Each suite is approximately twice as large as a Standard Room, and includes a living room and bedroom.

The Allerton Crowne Plaza is located in the heart of Chicago's famed Magnificent Mile, 12 miles from O'Hare Airport and close to Navy Pier, Water Tower and the lakefront of Lake Michigan. Ideally placed for visiting the many Chicago attractions, the hotel is close to Sears Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world with a skydeck on the 103rd floor, Shedd Aquarium, the Art Institute of Chicago and the many museums at the University of Chicago. Sports enthusiasts should visit Wrigley Field, the oldest surviving National League ballpark and home to the Chicago Cubs, or closer still, the Chicago Bears pro football team's home ground, Soldier Field.
